Rose Tower was built in 1829 by Henry Tredcroft - a wealthy property owner in the Horsham area who created parks, gardens and pleasure grounds from the original Street Farm and other small farms.

The estate passed to Sir John Henry Pelly in 1855 and then to Charles Thomas Lucas in 1865. Charles Lucas was a partner in the firm Lucas Brothers that built The Royal Albert Hall, Covent Garden Opera House, Kings College Hospital, Cliveden and Alexandra Palace to name but a few.

Rose Tower is a few minutes walk from the idyllic medieval village of Warnham. The village has its own general store, butcher and two quaint little Inns dating back to the 15th Century. Furnished and decorated in the classical style, Rose Tower is available to rent all year round.

There are 14 acres of beautiful listed grounds planted in c1850 including many North American and Asian imports. The Gardens are listed showing many exotic, foreign and native trees and shrubs planted over two centuries ago. They are also home to one of the oldest living oak trees in the country and tiered lawns create a beautiful setting for an afternoons walk. A path leads though the woodland area with rock gardens and dense growth of evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs.

On the ground floor there is a grand sitting room and dining area with high ceiling and views over the countryside. Three sofas, a beautiful original stone fireplace converted to gas for an instant log flame effect. The room is furnished with a reproduction award winning Samuel Pepys diary cabinet and other antique furnishings making the atmosphere a delight to work on your itinerary.

On the first floor you will find the kitchen with everything you would require from a modern kitchen. Granite work tops cover a range of stylish oak cupboards including central island. There is also a washer/dryer and dish washer, eye-level oven, grill, fridge/freezer and microwave. The room comes stylishly equipped with a 38" flat screen TV with sofa chairs.

On the second floor there is a spacious master bedroom with en suite, seated landing area and a small panelled office.

There is a second double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a third single bedroom with a small additional bathroom close by.

Rose Tower is located within a two minutes walk of Warnham Village. Warnham is on the border of Surrey and West Sussex with a huge number of castles, stately homes and gardens to visit within an hours drive.

Rose Tower is the perfect setting for easy access to all of your favourite places to visit. It is in a convenient location situated just 15 minutes walk away from a main line station to London Bridge, Central London. It is also located only 20 minutes away from the UK's second biggest airport, Gatwick, with fast trains to London Victoria taking only 25 minutes.

- The House has full self-catered facilities. There is an antique pine dining table for six in the kitchen, offering views across the deer park. There is also a larger dining table for 8 in the drawing room with traditional furnishings.
- There are local food shops available offering anything from fresh vegetables to locally produced meats to multi cultural tastes.
- A mid-stay clean can be arranged for an extra charge of £30.
- A travel cot can also be provided for children.
- Babysitting and childminding can also be arranged.

A huge range of Eating Houses are available locally with only a few minutes drive away. To name but a few:
