Set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, close to Woodbridge and the Heritage Coast, the C16th Manor is something special. A privately owned country house dating from 1566, it makes the perfect setting for an exclusive wedding, a business retreat, corporate or private events or a house party to remember.

Nestling in nine acres of landscaped grounds and beautiful walled gardens, the house has recently been lovingly restored with exquisite attention to detail. The house retains all the atmosphere and charm of a sixteenth century building, whilst the 12 en-suite bedrooms have all been individually decorated to a truly exceptional standard with every modern convenience.

We believe that every event or stay at Woodhall should be special. Rather than offer packages, your visit will be tailor-made by our events team to meet your exact requirements. Whatever your reason for visiting, you will have exclusive use for the duration of your visit.

The Estate also houses a self contained two bedroom cottage adjacent to the Manor. The Cottage is also available for private hire.

The Manor is situated in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, close to Woodbridge and the Heritage Coast.

Conferences, award ceremonie, Lavish balls and Birthday parties can all be conveniently accommodated on the Manors Estate.

We have space for up to 120 for formal dining and conference facilities for up to 200. Marques facilities can be used in the grounds to cater for larger parties up to 500 guests.

Fine Food is a key ingredient in any event whether its a small dinner party or lavish banquet our brigade of chefs can cater for your every whim. We pride ourselves on using Local sourced, good quality products some of which have grown in the Manors own kitchen gardens. Our menus are a blend of classic and contemporary cuisine complemented by our large selection of wines. Our menu’s can be adapted or newly created for your special event.

The Manor hosts exclusive weddings and has been voted Suffolk's most premier wedding venue. Whether you choose to hold the whole ceremony with us making use of our licence for Civil/Partnership Ceremonies or opt for a traditional service followed by a reception at the Manor you can be sure of a memorable wedding day planned with precision to your exact requirements.

We can host Ceremonies for up to 200 guests in the Dove Cote whilst smaller weddings can take place inside the main house. Our Banqueting Suite can seat 150 for a wedding breakfast or up to 200 if a less formal buffet menu is preferred.  Smaller parties can opt for a more intimate setting; dining in the Manor House itself.  

Should accommodation be required, up to 30 guests can stay in 12 stunningly appointed en-suite bedrooms including the cottage.

Our Event Co-ordinators have a wealth of experience in wedding planning and will work with you in the build up to your wedding and on the day itself, to ensure that your special day is full of memories to treasure forever.

- Security deposit: £1000. This is paid prior to arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: Please enquire.
- Smoking: No smoking in the property.
- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
